Malaysia My Second Home
The Malaysian Government welcomes all foreign citizens
to enter and stay in this country on a long stay Social Visit Pass
under the " Malaysia - My Second Home Program".
This Program DOES NOT
guarantee a Permanent Resident status.
The "Malaysia
- My Second Home Program" is coordinated by the Ministry of
Culture, Arts and Tourism. Under this new program, foreigners are
allowed to purchase up to only two (2) units of residential premise
costing more than RM150,000.00 each.
This program is open to all category of citizens with no age limit,
and are allowed to bring along their dependants who are not schooling
or schooling and also one maid.
ELIGIBILITY:
Applicants 50 years old and above:
- Applicants with their spouse (either one of
the spouse MUST be above 50 years old) can choose EITHER to have
a Fixed Deposit (in a local Malaysia Bank) of RM150,000.00 OR
derive a Fixed Monthly income of not less than RM10,000.00, can
be issued with a Social Visit Pass for a duration of 5 years together
with a Multiple Entry Visa (MEV).
- Individual applicants can choose EITHER to have
a Fixed Deposit (in a local Malaysian bank) of RM100,000.00 OR
derive a Fixed Monthly income of not less than RM7,000.00, can
be issued with a Social Visit Pass for a duration of 5 years together
with a Multiple Entry Visa (MEV)
Applicants below 50 years
old:
(application must be submitted to the Malaysian Immigration Department,
Headquarters):
- Applicants with their spouse must have a Fixed
Deposit (in a local Malaysian bank) of RM150,000.00 AND derive
a Fixed Monthly income of not less than RM10,000.00, can be issued
with a Social Visit Pass for a duration of 5 years together with
a Multiple Entry Visa (MEV).
- Individual applicants must have a Fixed Deposit
(in a local Malaysian bank) of RM100,000.00 AND derive a Fixed
Income of not less than RM7,000.00, can issued with a Social Visit
Pass for a duration of 5 years together with a Multiple Entry
Visa (MEV).
