Property Trend Negeri Sembilan 1999
  • The total property market in 1999 rose 36.6% compared to previous year's decline of 38.7%. Most of the property sector recorded improvements, particularly industrial sector with 185.7% increased in transactions.
  • The residential property market in Negeri Sembilan marked an improvements of 36.7% increase in transaction volumn and a small increase of 4.7% in total value transacted. Seremban continued to dominate in residential transactions, accounting 75.4% of total. Rembau registered the most improvement by 172.9%.
  • In residential sector, property priced below RM150,000 had a strong demand. 49 projects out of the state's new launchings, only 5 projects were offered above RM150,000.
  • After the relaxation of loan restrictions on property br Bank Negara, the retail sector recorded an increased of 25.7% in total retail transactions. However, the total value dropped 5.1%
  • The industrial sector registered impressively in both total transactions and total value, increased by 185.7% and 57.7% respectively.
