  • The property market activities in Pahang was generally weak and inactive. The number of transactions and total value increased by 9.9% and 7.7% compared to previous year.
  • The residential market was stable with moderate increased in total number and value by 5.6% and 13.1% respectively. This sector remained its domination with 61.3% of total property transactions. Kuantan and Temerloh had the most transaction activities contributing 44.4% and 16% of total residential market.
  • The office space sector was stable with slight decrease in rentals and prices.
  • The retail sector recorded increases in both total number and value by 14.3% and 3.4% respectively over previous year. Again Kuantan and Temerloh were the most active districts occupying 30.8% and 36.1% share of retail property transactions.
  • Industrial sector registered a significant drops in total transactions and total value by 11.4% and 45.8% over last year. Vacant plots and terraced units priced between RM100,000 - RM250,000 were the most popular.
  • The agricultural sector rose 18.4% and 9% in both total number and total value, and rubber land still dominating in this sector by 41.7% share.
  • The development land transactions increased significantly by 123.6% and 286.1% in total volume and total value. However it still below the levels in 1996 and 1997.
